Fitted cupboards in Brantham

The job

A returning customer in Brantham had a long blank wall in the room that was doing nothing useful, and wanted it turned into proper storage. The brief was for something that looked built in rather than added on, with a surface on top that could be used and something above to break up the wall.

What we did

We made a run of six shaker-style cupboard doors across the wall, built to the length of the space rather than made up from standard cabinet widths, so the run finishes neatly into the walls at both ends with no awkward gap to fill. The doors were spray-finished in our own spray shop in a blue, which gives a smooth, hard-wearing surface across the whole run. A solid oak worktop was fitted over the top, and two matching oak floating shelves were made and fixed above, picking up the same timber so the wall reads as one piece.

The result

A run of fitted cupboards in Brantham with a solid oak worktop and matching floating shelves, making use of a wall that was previously empty.
